We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced manufacturing manager to join our team. W orking closely with the Operations Director you will have the responsibility of overseeing our manufacturing activities and meeting our production targets by implementing a culture of 5S and continuous improvement This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent service and is looking to work in a strategic role, driving improvements in our production operation but still taking an active role in the day-to-day management of the processes and people. Key responsibilities include: Driving process improvement by continually assessing production areas for improvements and cost effectiveness Leading and driving H&S policies, procedures and implementation Implementing a culture of 5S and continuous improvement to fully support the company’s quality objectives (ISO9001, 14001 and 45001) and ensure 5S principles are embedded in daily standard practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation. About you The ideal candidate will have a background in SME manufacturing with experience of running a well-established and successful production operation. You will demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have experience of data analytics and report writing. You will have a p roven track record of implementing successful change management programmes and know how to foster a culture of teamwork and accountability.
