Document Controller/ Site Administrator- Reading Up to £40,000 Bonus Benefits A leading construction contractor is seeking a proactive Document Controller to support the smooth running of a major new build project in Reading. This position plays a key role in ensuring site operations run efficiently through effective administration, document control, and coordination with site teams and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring all documentation, processes, and procedures are up to date and compliant • Manage site inductions, workforce registration, timesheets, and onboarding documentation • Maintain accurate records of site personnel, training, and timesheets in line with internal systems • Coordinate logistics including deliveries and plant requirements • Upload, track, and distribute project documentation, ensuring revisions and approvals are clearly recorded • Support the site and project management team with regular reports, correspondence, and internal communications • Assist with monthly reporting and contribute to project handover documentation (O&M manuals, H&S records etc.) • Provide general office support including printing, filing (physical and electronic), and maintaining supplies and equipment About You • Proven administrative experience in the construction industry (minimum 2 years preferred) • Organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple tasks under pressure • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders • Experience with document management systems and construction reporting tools (e.g., Aconex, Asite, or similar) • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Knowledge of workforce and compliance systems (training provided where needed) What’s on Offer • Competitive salary up to £40,000 per year • Annual bonus scheme • Private healthcare & pension plan • 25 days paid annual leave • On-site parking • Opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced project team on a long-term build
