A respected UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst in the South East of England. They are ideally seeking someone who is dual-qualified and holds experience of carrying out full surveying and air monitoring duties, however, they are able to offer training for candidates who hold either surveying or analytical experience. Experience / Qualifications
* Will have experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst (or Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Analyst)
* Must hold industry-related qualifications (BOHS P402, P403, P404, or RSPH equivalents)
* Good understanding of compliance guidelines (UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Proven literacy and numeracy skills
* Comfortable using IT software
The Role
* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
* Completing ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
* 4-stage clearances
* Performing the full range of air monitoring (background, reassurance, leak, smoke and personal)
* Collecting asbestos samples from site and bagging correctly
* Producing site-specific technical reports and floorplans
* Meeting with clients to discuss findings and provide technical advice
* Adhering to industry safety and compliance guidelines
* Liaising with removals teams and managers on site
