Conflicts Lawyer
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading city law firm's legal risk team in London. They are seeking a Conflicts Lawyer to support fee earners and the New Business Intake team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, analysing conflicts of interest, and providing counsel on related matters. The role works closely with senior stakeholders within the team providing exposure across the wider compliance function.
Job Responsibilities
* Reviewing and analysing complex conflicts reports.
* Providing knowledge of conflicts rules as well as legal and regulatory obligations including SRA standards and regulations, and principles.
* Working with fee earners and staff members to identify, analyse and resolve ethical and business conflict issues related to requests for proposals.
* Performing legal research and analysis relating to conflicts of lateral hires and identifying strategic conflicts arising between various clients.
* Continuously developing conflict management policies and procedures.
* Developing training materials and provide conflicts management training.
1. Key Experience
* E&W qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE with experience in conflicts position at a mid to large law firm.
* Experience using intake and conflicts products to perform conflicts checks - experience with Intapp.
