Brian McCance (Steel) Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, reliable candidate to join our Band Saw Operatives team to assist in our Steel processing operations. Working alongside the Warehouse Manager & Saw Supervisor they will be responsible for processing various steel products, safe storage within our facility, and distribution of saw cut products to customers throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Responsibilities Process various saw cut material to customer requirements. assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and saw cut orders being processed for delivery assist with the movement of stock either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck. Build and strap steel onto safe bales for delivery. Maintenance of the warehouse and saw area, ensuring a clean and safe working environment, including the storage of stock. Work within the health and safety regulations and procedures within the warehouse and yard. General warehouse duties and any other duties required. Qualifications and Skills Band Saw or Machinery experience desirable Forklift Truck Licence desirable Good team player. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting. Be willing to undergo any internal/external training that may be required. Experience Experience of manual handling desirable. Good time keeping and attendance record. Contracted Hours Monday Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm Note: The successful applicant must be willing to work overtime to assist with the business needs.
