Senior Audit Assistant
Location: Farnham, Surrey
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £27,500 – £37,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
A modern, tech-savvy accountancy firm in Farnham is looking for a Senior Audit Assistant to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your audit skills within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
* Work as part of a small audit team (2–4 people)
* Carry out audit fieldwork for a wide range of clients
* Take responsibility for sections of the audit file
* Get involved in audit planning and completion
* Manage smaller audits as you gain experience
* Support new audit client setups
* Contribute to project work during quieter periods

About You
* At least 2 years of audit experience in an accountancy practice
* Part-qualified ACA or ACCA
* Keen to complete your qualification (Level 7 apprenticeship possible)
* Strong Excel and IT skills (Xero experience a bonus)
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* High attention to detail
* Able to commute to Farnham (within 30–45 minutes)
* Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
