Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:30 -17:00

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Bench Fitter to join their dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and finishing high-precision components to exact specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met

* Bench fitting and manual assembly of precision-engineered components
* Deburring, polishing, and final finishing of parts *
* Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Working with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
* Ensuring quality checks are performed throughout the process
* Collaborating with engineers and machinists to meet production goals
* Adhering to health and safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in a similar Bench Fitting or Mechanical Assembly role
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation *
* Skilled in using hand tools, files, deburring tools, and measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
