PFE Medical is a family run company who specialises in bringing new, innovative infection prevention products to UK hospitals and is one of the UK's leading suppliers of endoscopy equipment and endoscope accessories.
Job Purpose
To effectively carry out in house assembly of Automated sinks and Vacuum packing machines used primarily in the NHS and private hospital sector.
Job Accountabilities
* To provide a build to time agreement to strict deadlines with the sales team
* To build products in house under supervision of the Service Director
* To carry out in house testing to ensure quality of final product
* To carry out calibration of equipment built.
* To maintain adequate stock levels of required components.
* Occasional visits to site to look at equipment faults
* To assist other team members as and when required/requested.
General
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
* To observe the company rules for employees.
* To observe the company policy on Health & Safety at Work.
* To observe the company policy and procedures on Quality Management Systems.
* To co-operate readily, politely and amicably with other company personnel.
* To undertake any other duties as and when required.
Other requirements
* Previous knowledge and experience of electrical assembly including electrical panel wiring, ideal but not essential.
* Ideally have previous experience in a maintenance environment.
* The post holder must hold either City & Guilds Level 2 or an equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* The post holder must have a genuine interest in people and be able to deal with colleagues in a friendly and professional manner.
* The post holder will have responsibility for building to time schedules and to maintain adequate stock levels of in-house parts required to build the machinery.
* The post holder must be self-motivated, be able to work flexibly and under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
* He/she must comply with Company dress code and maintain a professional appearance.

Salary dependent on experience.
