About The Role: The job holder will lead and co-ordinate all Security and Medical activities across the Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Ensuring that Security and Medical related matters are dealt with in a timely professional manner. Provision of the Resort Occupational Health function. Implement security policies and procedures related to the site to enforce security measures. Ensure security patrols are controlled and monitored around the Resort to protect against criminal activity, responsible for all access control to buildings and surrounding areas. Prepare written reports of situations, interpret, and enforce internal disciplinary procedures and ensure 24hr protection of the Resort. Responsible for the effective management of the Resort’s Crisis Management Response; including the planning of exercises to test emergency procedures. Maintain Resort communication systems including the development of existing infrastructure. Main Responsibilities Minimise losses by thorough investigations and effective communication with all departments. Support the safe and secure operation of Park and Hotel Security according to Codes of Practice, legislation, and guidelines. Motivate and develop departmental Managers and Team leaders to ensure departmental objectives are achieved. Ensure investigations into dishonesty, safety and risk or internal disciplinary matters are identified and investigated where required, through responding to information received because of audits, security reports or information from external/internal sources. Ensure Security, Medical and Ops Control team members are trained and suitably qualified to conduct their respective roles. Perform the role of Silver Incident Manager during major incidents. Manage daily staffing numbers in line with operational guidelines. Plan and execute Security & Medical operations for large events e.g. (Concerts & Fireworks) Demonstrate a high standard of verbal communication skills. Statement and report writing to a high standard. Manage department budgets and capital planning to meet monthly and yearly agreed targets. Ensure consistent superior standards of Security & Medical operation are achieved daily. Work within budgets and review ongoing spending to reduce future expenditure. To provide an efficient Occupational Health service to cover the Resort and act in partnership with the Human Resources team Manage the review of current Major Incident planning and incident management procedures. Manage a 24hr/365-day Security, Medical and Ops Control daily operation at the Resort.
