About The Role
Please note: This role is part-time, working 24.5 hours per week (7-hour shifts with unpaid breaks), on a 3on/3off rota. The working hours are from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
As a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness above all, which influences every aspect of our care. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories.
Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Brinnington Hall. Our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
Your responsibilities include caring for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of residents. This involves assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
We aim to deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring residents maintain their dignity and individuality. You may help residents with limited mobility to use aids, provide emotional support to confused or distressed residents, or care for those at the end of their lives, always prioritizing their wellbeing.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training suitable for their role and undertake additional relevant training. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
