Deputy Nursery Manager - Bexley
Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to step into a leadership role within a newly established setting?
A high-performing Trust is opening new nursery provisions in Bexley this September, as part of a major national investment into early years education. Based within established Primary Schools, these settings are designed to improve access to high-quality childcare and provide children with a strong foundation from the outset.
This is a shift-based role, working 6.5 hours per day on a rotating weekly pattern: 6:30am1:30pm and 12:30pm7:30pm.
As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
Lead by example to maintain high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
Assist in overseeing staff practice and supporting team development
Ensure a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
Promote childrens language, communication, and social development
Deputy Nursery Manager - We are looking for someone who:
Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has experience working in a nursery setting, with supervisory responsibilities
Has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
Understands safeguarding procedures and responsibilities
