Support Worker Vacancy at Rusthall Residential Service
We are seeking Support Workers to join our team at Rusthall residential service, located in the village of Rusthall near Tunbridge Wells.
Rusthall provides overnight short break stays for individuals aged sixteen and above with learning disabilities and complex needs, offering them and their caregivers a much-needed break. Each stay is unique, making this a rewarding role where you can meet diverse individuals.
As a Support Worker, you will make a positive impact on the lives of our guests by facilitating enjoyable breaks, engaging in meaningful activities, and helping them achieve their personal goals. Your responsibilities include supporting with personal care, medication, health needs, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. You will collaborate closely with families, carers, and other professionals involved in their care.
Successful candidates will possess a positive, caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and flexibility.
We offer flexible working hours (part-time or full-time), including day and night shifts, weekends, and occasional waking nights. Training, induction, ongoing support, and development opportunities are provided.

Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve within two years
* Completion of Care Certificate if not already held
* Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or Autism
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Ability to take personal and professional responsibility
This role involves working closely with children and adults and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service. It is a customer-facing position, and candidates must demonstrate sufficient command of spoken English/Welsh in accordance with statutory requirements.
