About the Role

We’re a growing, client-first Managed IT Services Provider working with ambitious small to mid-sized businesses. Our values centre around proactive support, transparency, and genuine partnerships. We’re now looking for a Growth Manager to join our leadership team and take full ownership of the sales and marketing function within Aberdeen's most-loved IT company.


This is not your typical sales role. We want someone who is solutions-focused, strategic, and detail-oriented – not driven by quick wins or commission. You'll lead on sales process development, proposal creation, lead generation, brand positioning, and pipeline management.


You’ll also play a key role in our growth journey by building and leading a small marketing support function in the near future.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Own and optimise the sales process from lead to close
* Build, maintain and continuously improve the sales process, pipeline management and lead qualification framework
* Generate leads through strategic efforts and by amplifying our brand presence
* Qualify opportunities by engaging with senior stakeholders and understanding their technical and business challenges
* Prepare and present high-quality, tailored proposals and quotes that reflect the client’s needs and our value
* Collaborate with technical colleagues to shape solution proposals, without needing to be a deep technical expert yourself
* Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and quality across all sales and marketing outputs
* Report on pipeline activity and sales performance, and contribute to forecasting
* Plan, recruit and lead a Marketing Support Executive to assist with campaign execution and content (within 6 - 12 months)
* Champion a data-driven approach to growth, using insights to inform decisions and test improvements


What You’ll Bring

* A strategic and organised thinker who takes pride in ownership and delivery
* Previous experience in a commercial role within a Managed Services Provider, IT company, or similar technical B2B setting
* Comfortable discussing technical solutions with senior stakeholders – you don’t need to be an engineer, but you do need credibility
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Strong leadership skills and a track record of mentoring or managing others
* Highly detail-oriented – you care about the presentation, accuracy, and consistency of documents and data
* Proficient with CRM systems, sales pipelines, and marketing automation tools
* A mindset geared toward continuous improvement – of yourself, your work, and the business
