Oxfam Shop Manager
Oxfam is a global movement working to end poverty. The Shop Manager oversees retail operations, leading a volunteer‑based team.
Responsibilities
* Motivate and coach the shop team to achieve retail targets.
* Create a safe, energised working environment.
* Oversee day‑to‑day shop operations, ensuring high standards of service.
* Manage finances, including basic financial reporting and retail processes.
* Delegate tasks, manage time, and address operational priorities.
* Implement commercial strategies to attract new supporters.
* Engage volunteers and facilitate their involvement in shop activities.
* Maintain compliance with Oxfam’s safeguarding and safety policies.

* Significant leadership quality and experience.
* Ability to build, retain and develop a team.

* Excellent communication skills.

* High level of motivation, enthusiasm and a sense of fun.
* Commercial awareness and judgement.

* IT literacy and numeracy skills.
