Description Directorate: Adults & Health Job Title: Wellbeing Worker Location: Chadwell & Tilbury Salary: £28,344 - £31,719 per annum pro rata to hours worked Grade: C Permanent Contract 23 Hours per week covering earlies, lates, weekends and Bank Holidays. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Caring for Thurrock, Wellbeing Team. Wellbeing Teams provide personal care and other support to enable people to live well at home and be part of their community. We challenge the loneliness, boredom and helplessness that many older people experience, and support people to feel connected, to contribute, be active and have purpose, their own way. The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude at all times and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia, Challenging behaviours and Manual Handling – training also provided.
