Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity, committed to protecting wildlife and inspiring a lifelong love of nature. We are looking for a Centre Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team at Thameside Nature Discovery Park in Thurrock.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers in retail and food & beverage areas.
* Operate tills and prepare drinks using the barista machine.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment.
* Restock shelves.
* Engage visitors in a welcoming and professional way.
Qualifications
* Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable demeanor.
* Interest in customer service and a desire to help visitors.
* Team‑player with strong communication skills.
* Basic maths and cash‑handling ability.
Benefits
* Permanent role, 14 hours per week on a rota basis (including weekends and bank holidays).
* Pay: £13.08 per hour.
* Annual leave entitlement: 26 days per annum, increasing to 29 days plus bank holidays.
