Learning & Development Trainer

ISS is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Trainer to support our operational teams across Aberdeen and the Scottish Borders. About the Role:
Reporting into the Regional Learning & Development Manager, you will lead the rollout of training programmes across the region — from onboarding to role-specific development. You'll play a key role in driving a high-performance culture, supporting compliance, and ensuring frontline teams have the tools and confidence they need to excel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions including:
* Welcome Day onboarding
* Placemakers service workshops
* Specialist PureSpace (PSO) cleaning training
* Supervisor development programmes
* Support the management of training matrices and compliance tracking
* Act as first-line support for ISS’s Learning Management System (MyLearning)
* Work collaboratively with Contract Managers, Operational Teams, and HR
* Collect and analyse training feedback to support continuous improvement
* Maintain accurate training records and support internal/external reporting requirements
* Be a regional ambassador for our PSO training programme, helping drive service standards
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a training or learning & development role, ideally in a facilities or service environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly with employees and stakeholders at all levels
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* IT literacy including Microsoft Office and experience with LMS platforms
* A proactive and people-focused approach to delivering engaging training
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region
