Job Introduction
WG&S’ Business Growth team is responsible for initiating, leading, and delivering projects, in coordination with WG&S’ Executive Board, to address key priorities and issues that will support the Group’s long-term plans and growth. The team collaborates with leaders across WG&S’ Business Units, regions, and markets, applying analytical rigor and structured problem-solving to topics such as business and financial planning, M&A, JV appraisal, and organizational development.
Main Responsibilities
You will lead various strategic initiatives for WG&S’ Executive Board and Business Unit leaders, including regional and market business development, RTM analysis, and M&A opportunity assessment. You will independently develop financial and analytical models to evaluate the impact of strategic decisions and investments, and prepare presentation materials for senior leadership. Additionally, you will manage analytical tools, data, research materials, and team management systems.
Success requires strong financial and commercial acumen, the ability to collaborate effectively across units and markets, and mastery of WG&S’ Internal Markets Operating Model.
Ideal Candidate
Candidates should have experience in business case development and investment analysis (e.g., DCF modelling), likely from Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Development roles. They should be able to work independently and support team projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders and leaders globally, and build positive relationships remotely and in person.
