The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in quantity surveying and gain hands-on experience across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting senior surveyors with cost planning, estimating, and budget control
* Measuring quantities and assisting with bills of quantities
* Preparing and issuing tender documentation
* Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Conducting site visits and liaising with contractors and clients
* Maintaining accurate project records and reports
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
About You:
* Degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QS software is a bonus
* Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
