About the Role
My client is currently looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. Projects are based around the Surrey area. The site team will consist of a Lead and Project surveyor to assist you with day‑to‑day duties, and you will also be expected to be able to manage a variety of your own packages. This is a career enhancing project that will add real value to your CV and experience moving into more senior positions later on in your career.
Duties
* Assisting with calculating take‑offs
* Assisting with the procurement of materials/subcontractors
* Assisting with preparing BOQs /estimating
* Assisting with the management of Subcontracts - valuation, variations etc.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports and reconciliations
Candidate Requirements
* Must have a minimum of roughly 2 years Quantity Surveying experience
* Ideally have worked for a Developer, would consider main contractor
* Must have residential build experience
* Must be able to demonstrate job loyalty
