Main Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate price and supplier information in business systems, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed of changes. • Monitor supplier performance in key areas such as pricing, service levels, and product quality. • Work with planning and stock control to ensure continuity of supply. • Keep an eye on global market trends and negotiate competitive prices, providing cost forecasts for both current and developing products. • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through price improvement plans. • Understand and communicate raw material usage, availability, shelf life, and minimum order quantities to support commercial feasibility. • Support the New Product Development (NPD) team by sourcing new ingredients and raw materials. • Manage supplier tenders and contract negotiations to secure the best terms and long-term value.
