Accountant looking after the accounting needs of small to medium sized businesses based in Falkirk. We are offering a Modern Apprenticeship role in Accounting and the contract is for 18 months. You will study for AAT Level 3 â Diploma in Accountancy with the one to one support of a tutor from Babington. Babington is a leading training provider of apprenticeships in the UK. In this role, you will learn a range of skills and work towards becoming an Accountant.\n\nResponsibilities â \nâ¢\tSales and purchase ledger processing\nâ¢\tBank reconciliations\nâ¢\tScanning sales and purchase invoices into software\nâ¢\tUsing cloud-based software to complete book-keeping tasks\nâ¢\tWorking alongside the senior Bookkeeper \nâ¢\tAnswer all telephone calls and reception enquiries in a polite and timely manner.\n For the right candidate you would be given support to progress through training to become a Chartered Accountant (ICAS or ACCA) should you wish to proceed to this level\nThe role is a great opportunity for a school leaver who has an interest in becoming an Accountant but does not wish to go to university. The starting salary would be £15,000 per annum.\nThis would be reviewed on an annual basis.\nAnnual bonus.\nSalary would be increased after 18 months depending on what route they take i.e. if taken on full time as an Accounts Assistant or progress to full training contract.\n\n
