Your New Role
This role is responsible for handling, checking and recording goods in and out of the warehouse, using a variety of systems and including some regulated items. This role is at the heart of customer order fulfilment and is focused on servicing requisitions at pace, whilst upholding all Survitec safety standards
Duties And Responsibilities
Handles goods in, checking items are delivered as ordered and recorded accurately
Stores items according to Survitec standards, including safe handling procedures and safe use of any machinery supplied
Picks and packs goods according to customer or service station orders, including recording of work using Survitec inventory systems and processes
Loads and unloads pallets and goods efficiently and safely
Prepares goods for dispatch, completing any necessary paperwork and updating systems as needed
Transports goods and supplies on site, or to other sites and customers, following established procedures and ensuring on-time delivery
Performs inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality and availability against records, following established inventory control procedures
Operates various equipment and machines, adjusting where needed to achieve efficiency and maintain safe working
Follows mandatory work instructions including use of personal protection equipment where relevant, to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of self and others
Develops and maintain excellent operational skills by participating in assessment and development activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching
Develops knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct; delivers work that meets Survitec operational and safety standards. Obtains authorisation from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure

Experience And Qualification
Educated to Secondary school level with 5 GCSEs or equivalent
No specific general experience needed
