Care Assistant Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.
Care Assistant duties include:
1. Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support)
2. Meal preparation and support
3. Medication assistance
4. Companionship and emotional support
5. Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments
Part-Time Working Hours
6. Part-time hours based on your preferred regular availability
7. Regular clients to support continuity of care, including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits.
8. Rotas planned up to 6 weeks ahead
9. Availability to work every other weekend is essential
Pay & Benefits
10. £12.70 per hour upon completion of the Care Certificate, with opportunities for pay progression based on the level of care delivered.
11. Paid travel time
12. Mileage allowance of 45p per mile
13. 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
14. Pension scheme
15. Full training provided – no previous care experience required

20. Must live within travelling distance of Pewsey (SN9)
