This role is ideal for someone with around 2+ years’ experience who is looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and well structured practice.With over 50 years of operation and an excellent reputation for staff retention, the practice offers a stable environment with strong mentoring and clear development pathways. Projects span residential, education, healthcare and commercial sectors, providing a broad technical grounding early in your career.The Role & Responsibilities:
* Supporting Architects and Technologists with the production of technical drawings and construction information
* Assisting with planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
* Producing drawings, details, plans, sections and schedules under guidance
* Coordinating basic technical information with consultants and internal teams
* Attending site visits and assisting with responses to technical or site queries
* Supporting the preparation of NBS specifications
* Working within agreed quality standards, deadlines and project procedures
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice
* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Strong technical drawing skills and good attention to detail
* Some experience or understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes
* Keen to learn, develop and progress professionally
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
