Our client is a leading consultancy provider to the Renewable Energy sector. Using skills, processes and knowledge they provide industry leading services to clients. We are currently looking to recruit P6 Planners / Planning Engineers with proven experience within the Energy (Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Net Zero, Renewable Energy, Carbon Capture, Hydroelectric or Nuclear) sector.
This role will be on a hybrid working basis of up to 3 days a week client site.
Main job purpose
* Directing the planning team to create and maintain schedules for complex, high-risk projects or programs.
* Collaborating with the project team to define the scope, develop and update comprehensive timelines, cost details, and identify any deviations from the original plan.
* Assessing project schedule progress and performance, identifying emerging issues and potential risks.
* Analysing the critical path and constraints to evaluate the impact of schedule changes and proposing solutions.
* Leading the evaluation of alternative strategies or recovery plans for delayed schedules.
* Overseeing the creation of status reports to keep stakeholders informed on project developments.
Qualifications / Experience
* Proficiency with Primavera (P6)
* Must hold a UK driving license
* Experience working on complex projects or programmes within the Energy Sector
