About the Role
A well‑experienced childcarer is needed to care for an 8‑month‑old baby boy in Farnborough GU14. The role is 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, with hours of either 9am‑5pm or 10am‑6pm.
This is a fixed‑term position until August 2027, when the family will decide whether to continue with the nanny or move the child into a nursery.
Responsibilities
* Nappy care.
* Weaning and food preparation according to Mum’s indications.
* Following nap routines.
* Encouraging developmental milestones.
* Setting up age‑appropriate play and activities.
* Assisting Mum in the initial months and gradually taking full charge as the role progresses.
* Baby’s laundry, tidying, and cleaning baby areas, toys, and dishes.
* Nursery duties only; duties will evolve as the baby grows.
* Feeding and caring for three indoor cats that are part of the family.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in a childcare setting or as a nanny, with a focus on caring for babies.
* Ofsted registration highly desirable.
* Level 3 or above in childcare is a bonus.
* Paediatric first aid training.
Work Schedule & Conditions
Monday to Thursday, 9am‑5pm or 10am‑6pm.
Fixed‑term until August 2027.
Driving required; a nanny car can be provided if needed.
Pay: £18 per hour, 32 hours per week, £576 per week, £29,952 gross per annum.
