We are looking for a proactive, organised and creative Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of our marketing and business development activity across the firm. This is a varied role supporting digital marketing, content, events and firm-wide initiatives, working closely with colleagues across the business.
The role would suit someone with a genuine interest in marketing within a professional services environment, who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and enjoys seeing activity through from planning to delivery.

The Opportunity:
The Marketing Assistant will support marketing activity across the firm will manage a range of administrative and coordination tasks, support digital marketing and design activity (including social media and video), assist with events delivery, and ensure marketing activity is clearly communicated to both internal and external stakeholders. You will work to agreed KPIs, budgets and deadlines, while consistently reflecting the firm's culture, values and brand standards.
Team structure
The Marketing Assistant will report into Will Hoy, Commercial Director and will work closely with Gemma Gifford, Marketing and Content Manager, Leanne Pipe our Head of Marketing and Business Development and Lucy Butcher, Events Marketing Assistant. The team works collaboratively across the firm to support growth, profile and client engagement, with each role having clear areas of ownership while supporting one another during busy periods.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of marketing activity using and the internal ticketing system.
* Managing marketing administration, including merchandise and stationery ordering, stock control, document creation and amendments.
* Supporting digital marketing activity including website updates, social media, video production and content delivery, as directed by the Marketing and Content Manager.
* Contributing to the firm's digital marketing strategy, including KPIs, timelines and budgets.
* Assisting with the development and delivery of the firm-wide content plan.
* Supporting events, including planning, administration and post-event evaluation, under the direction of the Events Marketing Assistant.
* Supporting marketing tasks arising from departmental meetings.
* Undertaking marketing inductions for new starters.
* Creating marketing materials, making amendments as required, and liaising with external agencies where instructed.
* Acting as the main point of contact and project managing activity for the firm's Charity of the Year.
* Completing competitor research, surveys and insight reports, making recommendations to the marketing team.
* Supporting wider firm initiatives including wellbeing, environmental and accreditation activity.
* Undertaking ad hoc marketing projects as agreed with the Commercial Director/Head of Business Development and Marketing.
About you
You will be organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with multiple priorities. You will be confident communicating with colleagues at all levels and willing to take ownership of tasks.
You are likely to have:
* A qualification in marketing, communications or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience using marketing, design or digital systems and AI applications, with confidence in Microsoft Office.
* Working knowledge of design and content tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro (or a clear willingness to develop these skills).
* Digital marketing and video production experience (an advantage, but not essential).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* An interest in marketing within a professional or regulated environment.
* A positive, flexible and collaborative attitude.
