Overview
As Strategic Sourcing Director, you will:
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with our business objectives
* Build and lead a team of procurement professionals to support our global business
* Drive the delivery of multi-million-pound annual savings targets
* Establish robust procurement policies, processes, and best practices
* Create data-driven reporting systems for spend analysis and performance tracking
* Foster a cost-conscious culture throughout the organisation
* Lead high-impact sourcing projects across a range of business areas
* Implement innovative procurement tools and systems
* Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to embed procurement excellence
* Build synergies with procurement teams across the Informa Group
The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. Candidates should live within a commutable distance of either our Milton Park, Abingdon office or our London, Blackfriars office to ensure that, as a balanced worker, they can attend either Milton Park or Blackfriars as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face. We work in-person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more. When you’re not spending time together in one of our offices or other workplaces—like at conferences—you get the flexibility to work from home or remotely.

Interview process: Once you have submitted your application, we may contact you for an initial screening conversation or ask you to complete a short video interview to better understand your skills, experience, and motivation. Following this, you will be invited to attend a competency-based interview, either virtually or in person. Typically, we’d then finish the interview process with a final, second-stage interview before extending an offer to the successful applicant.

* Strategic mindset balanced with hands-on execution ability
* Leadership skills to influence and motivate across all organisational levels
