A great role for a Senior Buyer / Sourcing Specialist with some experience in engineering or construction. An opportunity to progress your career with a major infrastructure company on the South Coast.
Our client is a major organisation in the engineering/infrastructure industry. They are experiencing a busy and exciting period of growth and are looking to expand their team.
You will be responsible for supporting all associated commercial activities to achieve value creation and minimize total cost of ownership, including executing the full sourcing lifecycle and delivering against procurement and value management strategies.
You will work with the Senior Category Manager and collaborate with business leads to deliver category-specific strategies, including sourcing and contracting.
Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act or a CIPS qualification would be advantageous.
Ability to demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.
This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week on-site.
