The Role
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to help develop and deliver a refreshed, quality-led food offering across the hotel’s dining outlets.
You will:
* Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Lead service in the Head Chef’s absence
* Maintain high standards of consistency, presentation, and organisation
* Assist with menu development using seasonal, locally sourced produce
* Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
* Manage stock control, GP awareness, and kitchen compliance
* Contribute to a professional, motivated brigade culture
This role suits either an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous ready to step into a broader leadership position within a structured, quality-focused environment.

* Confident running service and supporting brigade management

* £36,000–£38,000 base salary (depending on experience)
