Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including ALN pupils.
* Use a range of teaching strategies to support literacy, numeracy, and digital competence.
* Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
Classroom Management
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
* Promote high expectations of behaviour and learning.
* Foster pupils' wellbeing, confidence, and independence.
Professional Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and school events.
* Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
Person SpecificationEssential Criteria
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales.
* Experience of teaching in a primary school setting (including NQTs/ECTs if applicable).
* Knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
