For the successful Laser Operator / Setter our client is offering:
1. Hourly rate up to £14.00 per hour on the day shift
2. Day Shifts are 7:30am - 16:15pm - Monday to Thursday and 7:30am- 13:30pm -Friday's
3. Temporary-Permanent position
4. Free Parking
5. Overtime available and paid at T1/3
6. Training opportunities
The role – Laser Operator / Setter;
7. Operating a TRUMPF laser
8. Conduct regular visual quality checks or take measurements
9. Loading programs and raw materials
10. Setting the machine to process various thickness of materials
11. Reading engineering drawings
12. Supporting in other departments where required
What our client is looking for in a Laser Operator / Setter;
13. Previous experience setting and operating Trumpf Machines - ESSENTAL
14. Bystronic machines would be an advantage as would Turret/Punch Press.
