Marketing Business Development Manager
Warsaw, Poland | Newly Created Roles – New Office Opening
As part of the launch of our new Warsaw office, we are creating a couple of Business Development and Marketing roles to support the firm's growth in Poland. These newly created positions offer a unique opportunity to help shape how BD and marketing services are delivered locally, while working closely with colleagues across our international firm in a collaborative and forward‑looking environment.
Purpose of the Role
To lead and deliver an integrated marketing and business development approach for the Poland office, supporting the firm's growth ambitions by building market presence, strengthening client relationships and driving new business opportunities. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on delivery and will work closely with partners, lawyers and global BD & Marketing colleagues to embed the firm's sector‑led strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver an integrated Marketing and Business Development plan for Poland, aligned to firmwide, sector and group strategies.
* Act as a trusted adviser to partners on market positioning, client targeting, opportunity development and growth priorities.
* Lead and coordinate pitches, proposals, credentials and pursuit activity, working closely with central Bids and Pursuits teams.
* Build the firm's profile and reputation in Poland through campaigns, thought leadership, media, digital channels, sponsorships and events.
* Drive client relationship development activity in Poland, collaborating with Relationship Partners and global client teams.
* Develop and maintain high‑quality marketing and BD collateral to support client development and market engagement.
* Introduce and track KPIs to measure effectiveness and support data‑driven decision‑making.
* Lead legal directory submissions for Poland and contribute to global submissions.
* Support the integration of new partners and lawyers into the firm.
* Ensure all BD and marketing activity complies with brand guidelines and local legal requirements.
* Collaborate closely with Legal PAs and wider BD & Marketing colleagues to deliver consistent, high‑quality support.
About You
* Proven experience in a Marketing and/or Business Development role within professional services, ideally a law firm or partnership environment.
* Strong understanding of how marketing and BD work together to drive growth and reputation.
* Experience working directly with partners and senior stakeholders.
* Commercial, proactive and comfortable operating in a matrix, international environment.
* Strong communication skills with fluent English and Polish, written and spoken.
