Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Full-time | Monday to Friday rota’d between 08:00 to 19:00

What You’ll Be Doing
As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll operate as the go‑to expert for all health and safety matters, working closely with senior leadership and site teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing, implementing and continuously improving health & safety policies and procedures
* Leading regular audits, inspections and risk assessments across sites
* Overseeing fire safety compliance, including Fire Risk Assessments
* Delivering engaging health & safety training to managers and employees
* Investigating incidents and accidents, ensuring learning and prevention are embedded
* Advising and influencing managers to elevate safety culture across the business
* Staying ahead of legislative updates and ensuring full compliance
This is a role with real autonomy and influence, reporting directly into senior management.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an established Health & Safety professional who is confident working independently and influencing at all levels.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ recent experience in a Health & Safety Management role
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* NEBOSH National Fire Certificate
* COSHH training
* Proven experience implementing and monitoring Fire Risk Assessments
* Strong working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
* Confident communicator with experience delivering training and leading investigations
