Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of key financial reporting and compliance processes across a number of international territories, ensuring financial obligations are managed accurately and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:
3. Overseeing financial reporting requirements across assigned international territories
4. Supporting the financial setup and reporting frameworks for newly launched markets
5. Preparing and reviewing complex reconciliations and analysing large datasets
6. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure reporting accuracy
7. Coordinating external reviews and audits where required
8. Developing and strengthening internal controls and reporting processes
9. Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
10. Supporting and mentoring junior team members within the wider team
The Successful Applicant
11. The ideal candidate must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
12. This role would suit a 1st time mover with a super inquisitive personality or someone qualified in industry who has experience working with complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
14. Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
15. Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would be advantageous
