Job summary
This is an opportunity to join the well-established, progressive department of ENT at HHFT. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, dynamic team, responsible for the management and treatment of ENT patients with the emphasis on multidisciplinary care.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will be expected to:
1. Deliver quality ENT services in the most effective way regularly benchmarking service to improve practice
2. Support the organisational aim of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation, making a positive contribution to the management and financial strategies
3. Enhance and provide professional leadership within the ENT department
4. Work to strengthen links with GP's and neighbouring Trusts
5. Continue to enhance and develop the elective ENT service
6. Provide teaching and training to trainee doctors and surgeons
7. Help meet hospital targets in particular RTT
8. Initiate and take part in regular clinical audit
9. Have an active role in research

Essential
14. Full registration with the GMC
15. Qualifying Degree
16. Shall have completed a minimum of 12 years' medical work (either continuous period or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification, of which a minimum of six years should have been in a relevant specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades. Equivalent years' experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades including from overseas will also be accepted.
