ICT Teacher – Specialist Secondary School for Deaf Students

Location: Muswell Hill, London N10

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Contract: Full-time

We are looking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a specialist secondary setting for deaf students. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique and inclusive educational environment, committed to sign bilingual teaching and student-centred learning.

About the School

This is a well-established all-through provision for deaf children and young people, with the secondary department located in Muswell Hill. The school promotes the best of both worlds through high-quality inclusion and small class, specialist teaching.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience teaching ICT at secondary level

A track record of working with children with SEND

High expectations, with strong planning and differentiation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge of or willingness to work towards BSL Level 3

A commitment to inclusive and accessible learning

A Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People (ToD) qualification is desirable. If not already held, the school will fund and support the successful candidate to gain this mandatory qualification. Additional training and support will also be provided as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £34,524.00-£38,180.00 per year
