Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a high-performing English department.
* Develop and deliver a challenging and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3-5.
* Support and mentor English teachers, fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching culture.
* Promote literacy and analytical skills through high-quality teaching and learning strategies.
* Organize and oversee extracurricular activities, including literary clubs, debate teams, and creative writing initiatives.
* Ensure strong academic outcomes through rigorous assessment and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* A strong communicator and team leader with the ability to inspire students and staff.
* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with experience teaching Key Stages 3-5.
