About the Team & Role
Pearson was awarded the TOpS contract in April 2024, with the first test cycle to be completed in 2025/2026. The TOpS Associate Recruitment Operations Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and improving processes related to recruiting Associates for the TOpS project. This includes supporting setup deliverables, meeting deadlines, and ensuring all criteria are met.
This is an onsite role at our Hellaby offices in South Yorkshire.
During quiet periods, support may be needed across all subject areas within Pearson qualifications and for temporary personnel, including:
* Leading recruitment strategies and teams
* Managing costs, timelines, and resources
* Handling issues and risks proactively
* Supporting project management and process improvements
* Providing MI and reporting
* Managing stakeholder relationships and team performance
* Attracting qualified candidates and building pipelines
* Ensuring legal compliance and data protection
About You
You are a communicator and team builder with effective management skills, influential at all levels, detail-oriented, results-driven under pressure, knowledgeable about education regulations, skilled in analyzing complex data, diplomatic, adaptable, and flexible with work hours.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
* Operational experience in high-pressure environments
* Team or project management experience
* Experience in business improvement and cross-departmental activities
* Procedures and contingencies implementation
* Project management skills
Technical Knowledge
* Understanding of Pearson's business and education issues (Essential)
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (Essential)
* Database use (Essential)
* Familiarity with Google Documents (Desirable)
