Temporary Accommodation Review Support Officer
Our Housing Solutions Service is the front door for residents facing homelessness or housing crisis. With rising pressures—from legislative changes to the cost‑of‑living crisis—we are currently supporting over 5,000 families in temporary accommodation. Our priority is to help people move into safe, secure housing while providing high‑quality, outcome‑focused temporary accommodation.
Responsibilities
* Prepare case files and supporting documentation for Reviews Officers
* Liaise with customers, legal representatives and internal teams
* Monitor deadlines and ensure cases are managed in line with legislation
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records
* Triage and allocate review cases efficiently
This is a fast‑paced and rewarding role requiring attention to detail, organisation and sensitivity when dealing with complex situations.
About the Team
Our Temporary Accommodation Team ensures households have access to safe, suitable accommodation. We work collaboratively with landlords, managing agents and internal services to maintain high standards across our portfolio and deliver compliant, high‑quality services.
Qualifications
* Customer‑focused, empathetic and professional
* Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A confident communicator who works well with others
* Passionate about delivering excellent housing services
Experience in housing, homelessness or local government is helpful—but not essential. Full training will be provided.
