Salary: £110-£125 per day (depending on experience)
Role
A busy and vibrant primary school in Cheetham Hill is looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to take on a role that includes regular class cover responsibilities. This position is ideal for a proactive HLTA who can step into whole-class teaching when required, as well as support learning across different key stages.
Responsibilities
* Delivering planned lessons when covering for teachers
* Leading small group and 1:1 support sessions across core subjects
* Supporting teachers with preparation, assessment and classroom management
* Ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment
* Providing consistency and stability for pupils across the school
What We're Looking For
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Confidence in delivering lessons to whole classes
* Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
* Flexibility to work across year groups and adapt to different teaching needs
* A team player with excellent communication skills
