The Opportunity
As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering team, working on multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through to completion across a range of sectors. You will provide guidance to graduate engineers and collaborate with building physicists, sustainability consultants, energy and carbon consultants, and BIM modellers. This team is part of a broader regional group that includes civil, structural, fire, acoustics, specialist lighting, and other engineering disciplines.
You will apply your engineering expertise to shape projects and help drive them towards achieving net zero carbon goals. In an interdisciplinary environment, you will design buildings that maximise value for clients while minimising environmental impact. You will offer consultancy, and prepare design reports, specifications, drawings and models to meet project deadlines. You will also contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of the business, seeking innovative ways to increase efficiency through automation and exploring new services through our integrated digital approach to design.

Responsibilities

* Support net zero carbon goals in project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
* Holds a degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Architectural Engineering with a strong technical foundation and an interest in innovative design.
* On the path to Chartership: actively working toward Chartered Engineer status (e.g., IMechE or CIBSE).
* Proven design experience in mechanical building services across various building types and scales.
* Sustainability-driven with knowledge of energy efficiency and carbon reduction standards.
* Digitally fluent with experience in a BIM environment, practical skills in Revit, and collaborative design workflows.
