Registered Care Service Manager Charing Ashford, Kent

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring that resources are used effectively to provide a good quality service.

Ensure all staff receive regular supervision, in accordance with CareTech policy.

Work with the Service Development Team on resident assessments and transitions.

Ensure service users have dynamic support plans that are regularly reviewed.

Operate in accordance with statutory requirements, using National Minimum Standards as a benchmark.

Create a safe environment promoting personal development of service users.

Lead risk analysis, ensuring assessments and plans are in place to minimize risks.

Support health and safety practices and liaise with external agencies professionally.

Support recruitment, staffing strategies, policies, and procedures.

Participate in budget formulation and monitor expenditure.

Maintain proper records and administrative systems.

Manage petty cash and valuables belonging to service users.

Participate in on-call management as required.

Ensure health & safety compliance and communicate maintenance needs.

Maintain communication networks within the home and with the management structure.

Support disciplinary and grievance processes, including investigations and hearings.

Ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures, and participate in reviews.

Undertake other managerial tasks as required.
