Duties and responsibilities related to the Night Commis Chef role
1. Learning and practicing various cooking methods under the supervision of senior chefs, with a focus on night operations.
2. Regularly cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards during night shifts.
3. Performing tasks as directed by senior chefs, such as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie, to assist in meal preparation and service during night time hours.
4. Helping to receive, check, and store deliveries of fresh food and supplies, ensuring proper storage for night use.
5. Observing and participating in different sections of the kitchen during night shifts to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience.
About you
Proven experience in culinary operations, demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and support the kitchen team. Possess foundational knowledge of food preparation techniques and a commitment to following food safety and hygiene standards.
