As a Principal Waste Water Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in process engineering within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in sectors like nuclear. We provide industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to process commissioning, supporting client-side activities. Your Purpose
* Lead a team in technical design following standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Maintain quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring
* Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
* Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Understanding of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment processes.
* Operational or design experience in primary, secondary, tertiary treatment, bioresources treatment, odour, and energy management.
* Knowledge of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), cost assessments, carbon assessments, and UK environmental regulations.
* Familiarity with process modelling software such as BioWin, SUMO.
