Job description
Your work as a Apprentice Compliance Officer will involve various tasks that may change according to business priorities. Therefore, we need adaptable and flexible individuals.
The role may include responsibilities such as:
* Conducting thorough interviews by telephone or in person, following all legal and policy requirements, and pursuing all reasonable lines of enquiry. Ensuring declarations and changes are reported timely and taking corrective actions if errors are identified.
* Maintaining quality standards by adhering to all DWP policies, procedures, and CFCD operational instructions.
* Working collaboratively within a team and contributing to team goals.
* Promoting fraud awareness within DWP and to external partners.
* Gathering, verifying, and assessing information to assist Decision Makers in benefit reassessment and overpayment calculations.
* Keeping accurate records and managing sensitive evidence appropriately.
* Liaising with other departments and organizations within existing partnership frameworks.
* Prioritising workload amidst conflicting and changing priorities.

You will be based at our DWP Office in Ipswich.
