We are expanding and looking for a Laminator to join our Sheffield team. Our Laminators are responsible for the setting up, running, cleaning, and maintenance of our lamination machine.
* £25,500 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience + shift enhancement.
* 40 hours per week, Shift System Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am
* Location: Chapeltown, Sheffield, UK

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Set up & operate specific laminating machines according to company procedures and guidelines.
2. Identify and ensure proper materials and equipment are used for production.
3. Manage pre-run testing to ensure correct coding, weights, and bond strength.
4. Run the proper amount of material/footage as per job order.
5. Complete quality checks prior to production to ensure product can be processed at the next stage.
6. Load and unload material using defined equipment.
7. Install/remove laminator sleeves for each production order.
8. Follow production schedule as issued by production control.
9. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of machines and work area.
10. Enter data into Microsoft Dynamics.
11. Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties.
12. Report quality issues and food safety violations to management.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Understanding of lamination process.
* Ability to read rulers & gauges, use a micrometer.
* Testing of equipment.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Self-motivated with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* IT skills and team working.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Proven experience in production, lamination, and printing settings.
* Forklift operation desirable.
* Responsibility in food safety essentials.
