The successful candidate will join other Band 4 Consultant secretaries in the Respiratory Department at UHD Bournemouth Hospital, supporting 3 Consultants and 1 Associate Specialist, primarily based on the Royal Bournemouth site. You will work closely with the Respiratory Consultants and handle all associated administrative tasks, including clinic typing support. Flexibility is essential, with the expectation of cross-cover for colleagues during leave or as service demands require.
The ideal applicant will have at least RSA III typing or equivalent experience. We seek a motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment, preferably with NHS Consultant secretarial experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, excellent secretarial and organizational skills, and a team-oriented, flexible attitude are vital.
