Scope: Fully Employed
Salary: £38K - £45K per Anum
Location: Stevenage
Responsibilities:
* Plan, research, and produce high‑quality technical documentation with a focus on S1000D‑structured content and material written in Simplified Technical English (STE)
* Work closely with engineers, project leads, and subject matter experts to collect, verify, and clarify detailed technical information
* Convert engineering details into clear, accurate, and user‑oriented documentation for operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel
* Oversee version control and documentation updates throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with engineering changes and releases
* 3+ years working experience producing aerospace documentation
* Simplified Technical English (STE)
* BSc or HNC/HND in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related discipline - an advantage
* English - Mother Tongue Level
* Familiarity with industry‑standard authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker
* Prior experience documenting Ground Based Air Defense systems - an advantage
